10 Tips for You to Look Rich On A Budget

I strongly believe that there is a relation between the law of attraction and dressing up. As they say, dress up for the job you want and not the job you have. If you look good, you’ll feel good. I think that looking expensive will actually bring wealth into your life.

Do you want to look classy and elegant but don’t have the budget to do so? Fret not, it’s completely possible to achieve that ‘rich’ look without actually being rich.

Here are a few tips on how you can achieve that look:

Be Confident

The first tip that is important for looking rich is not about clothes or makeup or anything else that you can buy with money.

It’s confidence.

It’s not something you can order on Amazon or buy at Sephora the next time you go to the mall. But honestly, being confident is the most important thing you need to do to look classy. No matter what you’re wearing, if you appear to not be comfortable in those clothes or you look timid, you are never going to look good.

Be confident in who you are, realize your self-worth, and don’t ever let anyone put you down.

Once you’re confident, you can wear a sack and still look good.

Invest In Timeless Clothing

I remember when I was in college, I’d buy the first thing that caught my eye in any store. I wouldn’t really consider what kind of fabric it was and if the piece of garment actually suited my personal style. As a result, I’d wear it a couple of times and then get bored of it. I don’t do that anymore.

Now I am very thoughtful about what I buy and I have successfully stopped impulsive shopping altogether. I don’t get the brightest and trendiest outfit that everyone else is wearing. I am very thoughtful about what I wear and that has helped me save a ton of money in the long run.

Always Choose Good Quality Fabric

Not everyone will be able to read the tag of the brand you’re wearing but they all will see how your clothes look. This is why it’s important to always choose a fabric that looks good. But make sure it’s also comfortable to wear and will last long.

Wear Neutral Colors

Neutral colors are easy to match and pair with different accessories. This can be really helpful if you are not up to date with the latest trends or don’t have the money to afford a stylist. These colors are perfect for girls who are lazy but still want to look chic.

These colors are classic so it’s unlikely they will go out of fashion anytime soon. You can mix and match them as well. When accessorized correctly, they can be worn on many occasions.

Buying these colors is an investment because you don’t always have to check if they’re still in fashion and can just wear them when you’re rushing to go out.

Wear Classy Accessories

Accessories are a minor part of one’s style but that doesn’t mean they are any less important. In

fact, some would say they make or break your look. Invest in accessories that can go with many outfits and won’t go out of fashion. Avoid chunky jewelry and go for gold-plated jewelry.

You can even invest in some pearls because they never go out of fashion.

When it comes to accessories, less is more. Don’t wear all your accessories on the same day and go for a minimal look that will compliment your outfits.

Maintain Your Hygiene

Keep your nails trimmed and clean.

Make sure you’re not stinking and your clothes are always clean.

Keep your hair well-brushed.

If you’re dirty, no one would want to hang out with you.

Don’t Wear Uncomfortable Clothes

Just because you want to wear fancy clothes doesn’t mean you have to be uncomfortable all the time. If you’re not feeling comfortable in what you’re wearing, your discomfort will show on your face.

Besides, comfortable, casual clothes can look chic too.

Embrace Your Beauty

Sometimes while we are following fashion trends and styles, we tend to lose our own personality. Don’t do that! Every one of us has something to offer and you should never lose your individuality.

No matter what you’re wearing, always add your own personal touch so that you don’t look like some basic girl on Instagram. Don’t follow any fashion rules too strictly.

When it comes to makeup and hair, natural looks good. You don’t have to change everything about yourself just to look like someone else.

Wear Clothes That Fit You Well

If you’re wearing baggy clothes or clothes that are too tight, it’s an indication that you need to buy new clothes. Clothes that don’t fit you well will never look good on you, no matter how expensive they are.

On that note, also make sure that your clothes don’t have any stains or wrinkles on them. They just won’t look good at all.
